” I’ve been involved with the company ever since it was formally incorporated in 2020. Due to the lockdown and the pandemic, the youth of our community are vulnerable and at risk of crime. The lack of youth centres and safe spaces to keep them off the streets has urged me to survey many young people in the community who have told me of their wishes for a youth centre with unique and tailored activities to nurture their skills. From this, I decided to listen to them and open up the centre. I’m passionate about youth work and young people and this centre through its work gives me a sense of purpose by providing them with a safe place and nurturing environment where they can flourish and be happy as young people.”
